Who doesn’t love mozzarella cheese?! In this immersive experience, you’ll get up close and personal with the process of making fresh mozzarella! You’ll be picked up from the center of Matera for a 15 minute drive to your hosts’ farm. Once there, you’ll visit the farm and learn the story behind it before an experienced “casaro” (cheesemaker) demonstrates the fine art of making mozzarella and other Southern Italian cheeses. After learning the secrets to this traditional craft, you’ll sit down for a homemade, 5-course Italian meal featuring the fresh cheese!
